12 compositions, totaling 207 stems

designed to feel like what's left of a memory...

inspired by nostalgia

A composition inspired by letting go.
I was inspired to make this pack when I had feelings I couldn't let go of. And so I just kept creating.

Most feelings escape. These did not.

Textured compositions that feel like fragments of forgotten audio — old MP3s, washed-out CDs, signal loss, low-bit-rate internet, and blurry 2000s YouTube.

THE PROCESS BEHIND LOSING SIGNAL

A composition pack inspired by trouble letting go of the past.

I was inspired to make this pack when I had trouble letting go.
And a feeling that wouldn't escape.

THE PROCESS BEHIND LOSING SIGNAL

The Chase Bliss Lossy Pedal was used heavily to blur, age, and destabilize the sound.

Compression artifacts, instability, and digital decay were part of the design, so the degraded versions feel less like processed loops and more like fading memories.

Most packs feel overly curated, too sharp, clean but not alive.

Losing Signal was recorded through real amplifiers, microphones, physical spaces, and analog hardware to preserve room tone, warmth, texture, and depth.

Room tone, mic placement, off-grid timing, and one-take performances were left intact.

The result: audio that feels alive, dimensional, imperfect — not flattened by digital correction.

Modern sample packs are overly curated for the sake of being sold.

Back then, sampled music came from real records — music that was made to be listened to, with real magic baked into it. More went into it.

These compositions were designed with that in mind. They aren’t basic loops.

They behave like real musical material. The recordings feel alive, evolving, closer to actual songs.

Tracked Through Real Gear

Although this pack was made like real records, it was optimized for sampling. It’s built with many changing, evolving motifs so there’s more to discover and reinterpret — more to find every time you come back.

Because of this, no two people will find the same thing. Each person uncovers something unique. That creates space for sampling that feels personal, not predictable.
